I wish I could do all the things my head wants
I wish I could check the list off
Every hour of the hour and say
Finished this
This is done
Did that
Cross this off
But unfortunately,
I have to face the facts that
In the next hour I cannot
be a global star singer
In the next I cannot be
A touched artist
Or a novelist
I can not be Beethoven
Or Jillian Michaels
A can not be a fashion designer
And save all the whales.
To accomplish any
I must choose one.
And isn’t that a shame.
